80s Mod revival weekend
From scooters to skipants, white lipstick and winkle pickers, find out what 80s Mods watched, wore and rode. See scooters on display, watch Mod films (including Quadrophenia) and view daily Mod fashion parades. Get out on the dance floor with go-go dance lessons for the whole family, or groove to pop, beat, R&B, soul and ska tracks from our live DJ. Explore the Mod experience in The 80s are back exhibition.

During the day, on Saturday 15 May, get your copy of the Stark Raving Mod book signed by authors Ariana Klepac and Bill Posters. On Sunday 16 May, join Lambretta enthusiasts for a ‘Show and Shine’ scooter parade and display. Entry is included with Museum admission, $10 adult, $5 child, $6 concession, free for members.

On Saturday night, from 7pm, join us for live performances from one of the biggest Mod bands in Australia, The Sets, as well as Sydney ska pop band Allniters. A DJ will get you out on the floor with beat, R&B, soul and ska tunes. Look sharp in your favourite Mod gear! Food and drink will be available to purchase from the bar. Over 18s only. $28 adult, $24 members, $24 groups of 8 or more).
