It seems to me that they would look best if smeared on to the bottom of your hiking boots ? Or, do they possibly “pop” when you cook them like popcorn? Then there’s always adornment. Set into gold as jewelry…bracelets, necklaces, earrings, pins, or even as part of a body piercing. And I’m sure there are many other uses for the little “beauties”. Sandy F.
I also noticed that they have quite a resemblance to MR. T
The Bogong “grasshopper”is almost identical to the “Killer Cicada”. It used to be found on the grassy parts of the Bogong High Plains. Now that it’s a National Park, I’m not so sure.

I have been following the log on and off for months. Totally lost in admiration. The walk was something I had dreamed of doing but knew I never would. Now you are nearing the end it is time to register my congratulations and best wishes.
