Thank you for your interest in the Powerhouse Museum as the venue for your event. The Museum currently undertaking a major capital works program to refurbish and redevelop some of our public areas. This program will result in an enhanced Museum experience for all of our visitors. At this stage it is anticipated the revitalisation work will be complete by November 2011. The Powerhouse Museum is an award-winning museum offering spectacular architectural spaces for hire, including theatres, meeting rooms and exhibition areas suitable for cocktails, dinners and product launches.

The Museum is a truly unique conference and special events venue. It now also boasts new state-of-the-art interactive technology studio Thinkspace, providing an innovative environment for small group presentations, brainstorm sessions or business pitchs.

The Powerhouse Museum is situated in Sydney’s Business District, adjacent to Darling Harbour and a short walk from Central Railway Station.
A connecting covered walkway links the Museum to the Paddy’s Market Monorail & Light Rail Stations and the Entertainment Centre’s car park.

Theatre facilities include: lecterns; microphones; house audio systems; video/data projectors; special lighting and theatre technicians.
Special audiovisual hire packages are available for events held in the Museum’s exhibition areas and meeting rooms.
