My Video Adventure: 6-9 year olds

One day workshop for 6-9 year olds. Star in your own digital video adventure story! Edited on PC, your video will use special fx, titles, and a groovy music soundtrack. Invite your family and friends to a special screening to see your work at 2.30pm. This one-day course is suitable for beginners. Minimum numbers are required.

Make a Music Video: 10-14 year olds
Tuesday 6 & Wednesday 7 April
10am-4pm
$140/126 members 2 day workshop for 10-14 year olds.
Here's your chance to be a superstar! Create your own music track in our digital music lab using loops and samples from our huge library of sounds, then add your own lyrics or instrument tracks. Make a music video for your track with you as the star, using our special FX video studio and software. Take away your music video on CD to play on your own computer. Suitable for beginners. Minimum numbers are required.
Songwriting and recording
Thursday 8 April & Friday 9 April
10am-4pm
$140/126 members 2 day workshop for 12-16 year olds.
Join our experienced music tutors and other young musicians in this two day workshop. Learn songwriting techniques and analyse some classic songs. Record in our digital production studio. Combine live performance with computer methods to create backing tracks and effects for your demo. All experience levels and instruments welcome!
Classic Stories: The War of the Worlds

This original collaboration between Australian Theatre for Young People (atyp) and Thinkspace is designed to provide participants with an insight into the various roles in the film making process from actor to editor!
