Creative digital media workshop
This hands-on, exciting workshop introduces students to creative possibilities of Arduino electronics and programming. We use our own custom microcontroller, the Thinker1, to teach students how to program outputs such as LED lights, and inputs such as light sensors. Engaging and immediate, this workshop introduces the basics of the Arduino programming language as well as some of the key concepts of circuit building used in electronics and robotic projects.
“Arduino is an open-source electronics prototyping platform based on flexible, easy-to-use hardware and software. It’s intended for artists, designers, hobbyists and anyone interested in creating interactive objects or environments”. www.arduino.cc
