Making the title wall
On December 3, over 30 Rubik’s Cube enthusiasts, ranging in age from four to 70 years old, gathered at the Powerhouse. Their mission: arrange 1,176 cubes to spell out ‘The 80s are back’ using plans drawn up by the exhibition designers.
Three hours later, 40 cups of coffee had been consumed, one cube had been solved in under 60 seconds; and the mission was accomplished!
We got to meet some amazing people including an 8 year old boy that could solve the Rubik’s cube puzzle in less than two minutes and Ankur Chaudhary who you can see solve the puzzle in 60 seconds!
