The 80s are back is an exhibition that explores Australian life and popular culture during this formative decade of social, cultural, economic and political change. Interpreted through subcultures, movements and trends, this exhibition will allow students to explore key themes relevant to history, social and cultural studies, design, fashion and music.

The variety of objects, year-by-year timeline and case studies, images, interactives and audiovisuals in the exhibition will provide an integrated and multimedia environment to encourage student enquiry, reflection and foster experiential and collaborative learning.
