Great memories. Some other venues where the bands played include: The Graphics Art Club (too many bands to list), Selinas Coogee Bay Hotel (The Allniters), Carringbah Inn (The Allniters), Sutherland Entertainment Centre (The Allniters), Strawberry Hills Hotel (Lighthouse Keepers, The Skolars?) The Marble Bar (The Skolars). I seem to remember The Skolars recording a film clip through the streets of Sydney’s CBD on the back of a flatbed truck, or was it on top of one of the buildings? We traveled all across Sydney and suburbs to support the local ska and other independent bands. Are there any good Sydney ska bands about these days? On the topic of mixed tapes, I still have a couple, but they’re of English ska. I also have some Australian Ska bands on vinyl and some other indies, mostly 45s and EPs. What’s the copy write restrictions on indies and labels that no longer exist? I’d like to convert them to MP3.

This brings back some wonderful memories for me. I grew into the scene as I adored and (still do adore the music). I made some amazing friends one of whom was Wally. The creativity was something that I really enjoyed. There were some truly interesting people, I remember one of my favourite people, Leon who incidentally lived down my street. I now have children of my own who I have no doubt will listen to a variety of music and choose to see different cultures along with being creative.

Hi Brian, my name is Mary and I too was a HUGE fan of Pseudo Echo…..Gosh, I remember going along to see you play at Epping one Friday Night. My heart was beating so fast I thought it would pop out. Then after that my friend and I came to see you guys twice in one weekend. Oh, they were the days !!!!

Oh i loved Pseudo Echo, especially you Brian…. listening to your music all these years later brings back so many happy memories for me. My best friend and i would dance like there was no tomorrow- we where great 80′s dancers. Ha Ha
I had my hair cut like you and just wanted to meet you all. Now in my 40′s i still want to meet you. Unfortunately you are not coming to Adelaide next tour. Shame. Maybe next time.

I used to go to Propaganda all the time and the exchange, in fact my husband and I met at Propaganda and got married two years later. We are still together, I wonder if we are the only couple who met there and are married!!!! What a blast. Used to hang out with Barry and Christine but lost touch a while back…………..ah nostalgia! Funny, just listened to join in the chant, right back at the exchange.
