Sydney Observatory provides a unique opportunity for teachers and students to learn about astronomy and space exploration with highlights including the amazing 3-D space theatre, the bean bag planetarium and telescope viewing (weather permitting).
Each 90 minute tour is guided by a highly trained astronomy educator and can be tailored to meet student needs and special topics. During the day students can safely view the Moon, Venus, bright stars and the Sun using a special solar telescope. At night students will see the Moon, the planets, double stars, star clusters and nebulae.
Class visits cost $7 for day visits and $10 for night visits per student with teachers free within the student/supervisor ratio.
