The Powerhouse Discovery Centre offers visitors the opportunity to see thousands of objects from the Museum’s collection that have never or only rarely been displayed.
The Discovery Centre provides a unique destination for a school excursion with several ways to visit. Supervised and themed tours can be tailored to each group’s specific interests and needs to meet Key Learning Area requirements. All visits ensure students and teachers experience and work directly with objects from the collection with a focus on discovery and exploration.
Class visits cost from $5 per student with teachers free within the student/ supervisor ratio.
