The competition closed on Wednesday 31 March 2010. The winning images wereannounced at the Hunter Valley Steamfest in Maitland on Saturday 17 April.
The winning images along with a number of highly commended images will go on display at the Powerhouse Museum from 12 May - 29 August 2010. more...
Winners in the following categories received AUD$2,000:

- Diesel electric or electric trains - Supported by UGL Rail
- Night shot
- Railway infrastructure
- Trainspotting
- Railway workers
The overall winner received AUD$5000, which has been generously supported by Mr Dick Smith AO.
