Writing Collection Descriptions

A collection level description provides information about the collection as a whole rather than about individual items within the collection. The primary purpose is to aid resource discovery so it is useful to consider likely search terms or keywords as you are writing.

You can find various examples of collection level descriptions here or check  other entries in the MME itself.
