Artist statement
‘I seek to craft jewellery where botanical and ornamental elements are often inspired by art-nouveau motifs from the early 20th century. The tableaus are narrative in character. I like to see my works as objects suggesting a story, a story of emotional experiences and sometime absurd observations. The content can express both playfulness and seriousness, as well as beauty and fear. In the twilight between these points there is a duality and force created. A force that is more important than the elements of expression isolated by themselves.’
