Artist statement
‘I try to take the best parts of the past and place it in present time. I want to visualise that fine vibrating permeability that sometimes makes people’s eyes shine.
I get inspired by things that show me that the impossible is possible, the wisdom of life and the small details in unexpected places. I want to make the world beautiful and I’m going to use the whole of me, with all my knowledge, all my feelings and all of my heart.’
