Artist statement
‘Participating in Love Lace allowed me to do away with the conventional concept of lace and look at it in an innovative way.
My artworks, executed in screen-print in combination with my own techniques, make it possible to create a light and transparent atmosphere within a space — another dimension full of the play of light and shadows. The artworks can function as interior design objects, but at the same time they offer an opportunity to look at the surrounding world philosophically and to be active in interpreting it.’
