Body jewellery: needle lace technique using copper and lacquered wire of different thicknesses
Artist statement
‘My recent works of wire lace were inspired by female fashion and underwear. I created these to exhibit but they are also somehow wearable. My intention is to entertain and make visitors think about how women are manipulated by fashion. Fashion which tries to stay at the centre of their interests and convince them that clothes provide satisfaction. Fashion which helps them to find self-confidence and inner balance.’
