Well as Curators, Registrars and Conservators at the Powerhouse Museum, we are trusted with special access to the basement and storage areas where we work on some of the most fascinating, entertaining and puzzling objects. We want to share with you some of our favourite bits and pieces from the Museums enormous and diverse collection.
So. here’s the key to our basement! Just go down the stairs, turn left at the costume collection, straight ahead past the contemporary porcelain, and right at the scientific instruments….
