Photography at the Museum

camera_85The Powerhouse Museum recognises that taking photographs whilst out and about, is an important part of the experience for visitors. We support you taking photographs for non-commercial use such as documenting your visit and also for the purposes of research and study.

We’d love you to share with us some of the photos you take at the Museum.

To make this easier we have set up a group on Flickr called ‘Me and the Powerhouse Museum’ where you can share any photos that you wish to make available to the Flickr community about your visit to the Museum.

We will be picking the best of these periodically to feature on our website!

Remember to hold the camera steady!

* From time to time there will be certain exhibitions that we may have to apply a ‘no photography allowed’ instruction due to contractual Copyright restrictions however we will label these exhibitions accordingly.

** If you’d like to do some commercial photography at the Museum then please contact us – we have some great atmospheric locations available for shooting.
