The little boy in this photo came to the Museum to visit one of our new exhibitions Tinytoreum. As he was leaving the house he asked his mother if he could take his binoculars with him, ‘of course’ was the reply. So why would you take your binoculars to the Museum? Because this particular exhibition features the tiny objects from our collection and what better way to see them than through your binoculars. We loved this story and had to get a photo of this little boy looking at the objects with his binoculars. As I was photographing him I noticed he would turn his binoculars around the other way at times and when I asked him why he was doing this he replied “I can make the objects even smaller”.
