This is an exhibition view of the photographic immersive that we produced for the exhibition Modern Times: the untold story of modernism in Australia. Our photographer, Jean-Francois produced this immersive using archival still and contemporary photographs that he produced about swimming pools that are still open in Sydney today that have some distinctive features that represent modernism. Some of these pools included North Sydney pool, Centenary pool in Brisbane, the pool that was home to the Melbourne Olympics in 1956 and Enfield pool that still features the original tiles from the 30s.
The exhibition is traveling at the moment and is heading to the State Library of Queensland and will be on from the 8th August until the 8th November.
