This image taken c. 1880-1923 in The Rocks in Sydney is from the Tyrrell photographic collection. It is also featured on the Commons project on Flickr where one member has added a note over a building on the right side of the image, marked as ‘Today this is part of Susannah Place Museum’. This museum, managed by the Historic Houses Trust allows visitors to explore domestic working life as it was originally like in 1844, the year it was built. The Museum consists of four houses and includes a corner shop and sells goods from the era.
