Trainspotting highly commended:

This image was selected for our Trainspotting 2012 photography competition and exhibition. This photograph, taken in Lithgow, NSW was highly commended in the mobile category. The photographers caption reads:

Cruising Along
I was crewing this locomotive with my friend and colleague Adam. His relaxed and joyful nature showed as he drove the train and the lighting looked superb at the time. I felt a photograph was in order to capture this wonderful moment.

The Powerhouse Museum's Photo of the Day blog features a new image each day, chosen from the Powerhouse Photo Library.
