Trainspotting highly commended: railway infrastructure

This is one of our highly commended photographs from our Trainspotting 2012 photography competition. This image titled ‘SanRemoEntry’ was selected by the judges in the Railway infrastructure category to be included in the exhibition. The photographers caption reads:

Inside San Remo train station, I was inspired by the light reflecting and refracting around the tunnel. As I stopped and focused, appearing in front of me were symmetrical shapes from light and design. I then created this photograph to showcase the combination of art, light, mechanics and emotion.
