Powerhouse Museum photographer Marinco Kojdanovski took this photo of Elcho Island landscape in June last year. He was a part of the team documenting the story of Mavis Ganambarr, one of Australia’s leading fibre artists, currently featured in our Love Lace exhibition.
Elcho Island, together with the neighbouring Graham, Drysdale, Burgunngura and Stevens Islands, is located north-east of Arnhem Land, about 550 km north-east of Darwin.
