Faith, fashion, fusion: Nuri Siregar

Meet Nuri Siregar. Nuri was one of the participants in the street scene photographic shoots we did for the Faith, fashion, fusion exhibition. Nuri, of Indonesian background, is pictured here at the opening event with her published photo featured in the official exhibition catalogue.

Nuri says about her style:

As a mother, my current everyday fashion style is simple and convenient, whilst still trying to be as modest as possible. Jeans are a compulsory part of my everyday wear…but when I go out with my friends just to have some ”me” time, I like to dress in a feminine, modest style with natural make up. I also love to wear traditional Indonesian dresses from my background country. They suit me well!
