Light, landscape and photography are deeply embedded in Simone Latham’s collection Reverie. Her collection began with infrared photographs of nature, digitally manipulated to create a unique series of designs. Through colour blocking, her digitally printed landscapes reveal a vivid interplay between light and colour. In this outfit, light is further enhanced through the use of Electro Luminescent Panels embedded between the layers of fabric. The print is illuminated by the panels as the wearer moves.
Simone says:
these elements have been integrated to create a new and innovative textile, which has allowed the concept of energy and light to be taken in a new and exciting direction.
