This website is dedicated to the memory of Hedda Morrison nee Hammer (1908-1991). The Powerhouse Museum would like to express sincere gratitude to Alastair Morrison for his very generous donations of objects over many years. In 2002 Alastair Morrison was made a Life Fellow of the Powerhouse Museum in recognition of his significant contribution to the Museum.

Much of the information on this website is the result of research conducted by Claire Roberts, Senior Curator, Asian Decorative Arts and Design, for the Hedda Morrison exhibitions held at the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney, in 1993 and 2002.
