Science education is a very important part of what we do here at the museum, we have a range of exhibitions with strong links to science syllabi and are releasing a series of science shows to compliment these exhibitions. Our experiemtnations theatre has been updated to provide a venue for a selection of presentations styles to ensure your students get the most out of a visit to the museum.

NEW Colour science show – this show is full of demonstrations to introduce or strengthen students understanding of the science of colour. From spectra, chromotography and primary colours to indicators and flame tests. Stages 2 & 3

The Dating Game - A multi-media science theatre look at carbon dating.

Salinity; upsetting the balance – traces the history of land use that lead to the salination of Australian farming land.
