Top secret: licence to spy
The ultimate cloak and dagger experience for families.
Until 1 May 2011
Your mission this summer will be found at the upcoming exhibition, Top secret: licence to spy, where you can delve into the undercover world of spies and espionage!
Based around a James Bond style fantasy of exotic locations and high tech equipment, kids and adults alike can experience this top secret world as well as find out more about the science and technology behind spying.
Armed with a personalised spy file containing a mystery to solve and six potential suspects, you can become a secret agent, uncovering facts and investigating leads to determine which of the suspects can be implicated in the crime.
Over 20 engaging interactive displays incorporating codes, hidden cameras, laser beams and satellite technology provide intelligence on the suspects, leading you on a journey around the world, from Paris to the Sahara Desert, in your mission to uncover the culprit.
Use a spy satellite to find the location of suspicious activity, break open a safe filled with clues, uncover the location of hidden bugs, use a listening device, discover hidden clues through codes and ciphers, and much more.
Along the way, discover scientific secrets of spying, from the 1940s to the 21st century, find out more about some of the cutting edge spy technology currently being used around the world, and read about some of the famous spies throughout history.
