DesignTECH
LUZISM - Illuminating the art in light by Maggie Chiang

Innovative young designers from the 2009 Higher School Certificate Design and Technology course will exhibit their works in the annual DesignTECH exhibition.
The 23 outstanding projects were chosen from over 3,600 works submitted for the HSC. On display will be a diverse range of creations, from fashion, furniture, to recreational and musical equipment, to farming innovations and children’s education.
Powerhouse’s Curator of Product Design, Erika Dicker, said: "This years exhibition showcases a diverse range of innovative and exciting projects. The high level of talent from young design students in NSW is remarkable."
Highlights of this year’s exhibition include a folding kayak; an innovative motorcycle safety vest; the 'Shucati', a new take on the traditional waterski, and a whale calf feeder.
