The Bombay Sapphire Blue Room

4 August - 7 November 2004
An exhibition of glass in contemporary life.

Bombay Sapphire brings to Australia for the very first time the best in international contemporary glass design with two major exhibition projects in one space – the Blue Room – glass in contemporary life selection and the Martini Cocktail Culture - martini glass design competition finalists.

The Blue Room, including several short-listed entries for The Bombay Sapphire Prize, showcases outstanding examples of glass by designers, architects and artists such as Ron Arad, Danny Lane, Tord Boontje, New Zealander Anne Robinson, Australian Scott Chaseling and this year’s prestigious Bombay Sapphire Prize winner, Paul Cocksedge.

Fresh from its launch at the 2004 Milan Furniture Fair, Martini Cocktail Culture adds a new dimension to martini glass design presenting the 12 finalists of Bombay Sapphire’s international Martini Glass Design Competition. Martinis never looked so good!
