Engineering Excellence Awards 2011
The Engineering Excellence Awards exhibition is a collaboration between the Powerhouse Museum and the Sydney Division of Engineers Australia. The exhibition provides an opportunity to appreciate contemporary Australian engineering projects that have taken place in Australia and other countries.
All awards have been peer reviewed. The judging panel comprise engineering and scientific practitioners and academics, company chairman and directors, and consulting specialists.
Each year, the most outstanding project receives the Bradfield Award, named after the Australian John Job Crew Bradfield (1867-1943), the Chief Engineer for the Metropolitan Railway Construction and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
