You can help to ensure that Australia's cultural heritage is preserved for the benefit of current and future generations by making a gift to the Powerhouse Museum.
Under Australian tax legislation, gifts to the Powerhouse Museum are tax deductible.
There are three main ways to contribute to the Powerhouse Museum:
Making a gift of funds
Cash donations are one important way you can help to build the Museum's collection. These can be made through The Powerhouse Foundation. These funds will support the growth and preservation of the Powerhouse's collection. more...
Making a gift of objects
The Powerhouse Museum welcomes gifts of objects for the collection. Talk to us about what you would like to donate and we will assess it to ensure it meets the Museum's collection policy. Where appropriate, the Museum will assist in valuing your gift and submitting your claim as a tax deduction through the government's cultural gifts program.
Making a bequest
You may wish to leave significant items or funds to The Powerhouse Foundation or the Museum directly in your Will. In some cases, the federal government also offers taxation benefits to your Estate or to you during your lifetime.

The Powerhouse Museum recommends that you discuss your gift plans with your own legal or financial advisers. Members of the Powerhouse Museum's staff will be happy to work with you and your advisers to ensure that your gift meets your goals and the Museum's needs.
