Circular plate of thrown white earthernware with raised footring, flat base and slightly concave sides. The interior painted with aboriginal inspired 'x-ray' designs of animals. Coloured turquoise, pink, yellow and blue, under a clear glaze. Two holes drilled into footring with length of wire passing through for hanging.
Signed on base, incised under the base, 'Martin Boyd / Australia'.
