Salt and pepper set, earthenware, Dyson Studio, Melbourne, Victoria, 1950-1955
Salt and pepper shaker set, earthenware : -1) Salt shaker, in the form of an apple, with applied leaf sprig, single pierced hole on top, larger filling hole under base with paper wad stopper, lead glazed with the apple glazed brownish violet and the leaf glazed green, underside clear glazed ; -2) Pepper shaker, in the form of a pear, with applied leaf sprig, five pierced holes on top, larger filling hole under base with paper wad stopper, lead glazed with the pear glazed greyish yellow and the leaf glazed green, the underside is unglazed.
