Description
Lamp base, earthenware, L Fechher, South Australia, 1940-1950
Electric lamp base, earthenware, hand-built, crudely made with tightly waisted wide circular foot supporting small ovoid body with short neck and small hole pierced through lower body for electricity supply cord, decorated with applied vine leaves and grapes with the decoration brightly glazed in green, yellow and blue against the cream glazed ground.
