Salt shaker and pepper shaker (pair), earthenware, Jenny Mitchell, South Australia, 1930-1940
Salt and pepper shaker set : -1) salt shaker, earthenware, hand-built, of tapering cylindrical form with rounded top, single pierced hole on top and larger filling hole under the recessed base, applied grape and leaf decoration trailing from the top, pale green glaze ; -2) pepper shaker, earthenware, hand-built, of tapering cylindrical form with rounded top, five pierced holes on top and larger filling hole under the recessed base, applied grape and leaf decoration trailing from the top, pale green glaze.
