Ashtray, stoneware, Adelaide Potteries Ltd, South Australia, 1920-1950
Ashtray, stoneware, circular with flat base and low straight sides, a small central dog figure (seated spaniel) surrounded by a ring-like concave well, the figure and well salt-glazed a glossy mid-brown colour, sides and base are unglazed.
Made: Adelaide Potteries Limited; Brompton, South Australia; 1920 - 1950

Initials "J M" incised under the base.
