Mug, earthenware, T G and A G Bosley, South Australia, 1934-1940.
Barrel-shaped mug or tankard, earthenware, the vessel of swollen cylindrical form with a flat base and steep rounded sides, a large handle set upper body to lower body and the exterior decorated with vertical lines and raised horizontal bands to resemble barrel staves and hoops. Glazed with an all over mid blue lead glaze.
Made: Bosleyware; Mitcham, South Australia; 1934 - 1940
Marks
Impressed makers mark "BOSLEY WARE" under the base under glaze.
