Milk jug, earthenware, T G and A G Bosley, South Australia, 1930-1940.
"Old English Ware" milk jug, earthenware, wheel-thrown, of squat ovoid form with a flat base with bulging basal rim and steep swollen sides tapering at upper mid-body then rising and flaring to the wide mouth with pinched pourer, a moulded c-shaped handle with cross-hatched detail set back of neck to lower body. Glazed with an all over greyish blue lead glaze, three spur marks under the base.
