Figure, frog, earthenware, T G and A G Bosley, South Australia, 1930-1940.
Frog figure, depicted crouching on its haunches with head erect and facing forward, most of the body textured with small dappled depressions. Lead glazed, with the belly area yellow glazed and the remainder yellowish-green glazed with the glaze pooling in the depressions producing a speckled effect, flat underside with a circular opening into the hollow body cavity.
Made: Bosley Ware; Mitcham, South Australia; 1930 - 1940
Marks
Indistinct mark "BOSLEY WARE / MITCHAM / S.AUST" under the base under glaze.
