Evening dress, womens, silk chiffon, designed and made by Beril Jents, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, 1949

Full length black silk crinkle chiffon evening dress with black satin trim. Fitted bodice with high round neck edged with black satin band, pleated scalloped chiffon bertha draped around shoulders and bust line. Long semi-transparent chiffon sleeves and satin cuffs with hook and eye closure. Full skirt pleated into waist. Lower bodice and skirt lined with black satin. Centre back zipper with hook and eye closure at centre back neck band.
