Statement of significance

Representing the culmination of some 350 years of slide rules, this was one of the last rules prior to the take over of hand-held calculators and computers. Faber-Castell's rules were often regarded as the best rules in the world. The Novo-Duplex is highly sophisticated, designed for mechanical and electrical scientists and engineers.
