Description
Tapered knitted cream cotton bonnet with circular back crown with scalloped edge trim. Three knitted bands of leaves alternating with open knitted lacy bands form body of the cap, applied plain [cotton] front band.

History
From a collection of lace collected by Ms Dorcas Gayer Phipps of County Cork, Ireland and brought to Australia by her daughter Constance D'Esterre Phipps in 1910.
