Pencil drawing, paper / pencil / ink, James Johnson and Office, London, England, 1805-1806
A page featuring pencil sketches on one side and printed text on the reverse side. The pencil sketches relate to aspects of the design of the British Mint. Notations and measurements can be seen in pencil on the sketches. Sums and working can also be seen in ink. The printed text on the reverse appears to be a document, perhaps a contract, regarding Boulton and Watt. The page has been roughly cut along one side.
This object record is currently incomplete. The information available may date back as far as 125 years. Other information may exist in a non-digital form. The Museum continues to update and add new research to collection records.
