Circular badge, blue outer border with 'AMALGAMATED ENGINEERING UNION' in silver letters, 'EDUCATE', 'ORGANISE' and 'CONTROL' written in silver letters on a white ground, around a central red triangle with 'AE / U' in silver letters. At base of the badge is 'SHOP STEWARD' in silver on white enamel.
