Brooch, silver and gem stones, Dorothy Wager, [Sydney, New South Wales], 1982

Brooch fabricated in oxidised 925 silver with six bezel set semi-precious stones in an openwork foliate circular mount with rectangular wire perimeter and off centre circular opening whose inner perimeter is interrupted by oval bezel of purple amethyst at centre, bottom of brooch. Suspension loop projects from bottom centre back edge of perimeter, for missing safety chain. Brooch finding of hinged pin and rotating safety catch.
