Description

Spirit Bottles (2), moulded, empty, clear glass, "Tea Gardens Hotel Matured Rum", Australian Glass Manufacturers Company/bottled by John O'Brien, Tea Gardens Hotel, Bondi Junction, Australia c 1930-1960.
Moulded quart sized, clear glass spirit bottles, empty, flat cylinderical in shape with rounded shoulders, tapering to a short neck with cork mouth finish. Features opposing vertical seams from base to lip, base features cylinderical seam. Paper cask shaped label adhered to obverse of bottles, decorated with cask motif with text printed in red and black detailling product and trade information. Relief moulded lettering on lower edge and base of bottles details bottle size and manufacturer's trademark.
