Beer Pumps (2), cast nickle plated brass/glazed [stoneware], Tooth & Co, Limited, [Australia], 1900-1930.
Beer pumps of cast nickle plated brass construction with glazed [stoneware] handles. The handles are bored through the centre and fit over a central rod, fastened by a chrome plated nut at the proximal end. At the distal end the handle features fluted and bulbous decorative elements. The handle passes through a circular metal baseplate, which has a rectangular section cut out, to the pump rod. The pump rod features another clevis joint at the distal end which connects the puller to the pump. The clevis pin is missing for this joint.
(-1) Handle features a black and white marbled glazed decoration
(-2) Handle features glazed bands of salmon and peach colour with a central floral decorative motif in black.
