Intaglio seal, 'Neptune', black basaltes (stoneware), Josiah Wedgwood and Sons, Etruria Factory, Staffordshire, England, c. 1770-1815

Oval shape. Hollow relief with bust portrait of Neptune with trident, his head with long flowing hair and beard turned in profile to sinister.
